Choir
Except for some special services, our choir sings at all Sunday morning and evening worship services. If you can make a joyful noise we would love to have you. Check the calendar for Current Events & practice times.
Eleventh Hour
Eleventh is our youth Praise & Worship band. They minister each month during our Contemporary Worship Service, usually the second Sunday of each month. They are also available to minister at other churches or events upon request.
Ten 4 Him Handbells
Ten 4 Him ringers recently celebrated ten years of ministry! This special group of young people rings a three-octave set of English handbells, along with handchimes and mallets. Except for a short summer break, Ten 4 Him prepares year round for two special concerts a year: Easter and Christmas. They have also had the opportunity to ring at several area churches. Ten 4 Him has lovingly dubbed their practice space The Upper Room, and the group works hard to bring quality music to Goldtown’s services with their unique form of worship.
3:16
Three SixTEEN is an enthusiastic group of youth middle school and up who sing for youth services, revivals and other special services, and they also sing every other month on the third Sunday morning for Youth Day. 3:16 has also accompanied our adult choir and Ten 4 Him ringers for special presentations. They sing a variety of traditional, contemporary, and choral arrangements – in two- or three-part harmony. Part of every practice is spent in prayer. Practice time is also devoted to discussing the meaning behind every song they sing, including scripture that supports the message.
J.O.Y. Bells
The “J.O.Y. Bells” children’s handbell choir is comprised of ringers from the Beginners, Primary, and Intermediate classes (Grades K-5). Using color-coded cards and C-scale bells, the children can quickly learn the concept of ringing for the Lord. The group performs for church plays and youth services, as well as bi-monthly for our morning worship services on the third Sunday of each month (alternating with the King’s Kids).
The acronym for the J.O.Y. Bells’ name is a reminder to all of us to always put Jesus 1st, Others next, and Yourself last…only then will we have true JOY!
King’s Kids
The King’s Kids are a group of enthusiastic yet sincere young voices who love to praise the Lord. Consisting of children in the Primary and Intermediate classes (Grades 2-5), this group sings contemporary and traditional gospel songs. The group performs for church plays and youth services, as well as bi-monthly for our morning worship services on the third Sunday of each month (alternating with the J.O.Y. Bells).
The Bow-Tie Boys
This youth quartet is made up of four young men from our teen group 3:16 who enjoy singing special songs in four-part SATB harmony, either acappella or with tracks. As voices change they face new challenges in changing keys and exchanging parts. With this group, every practice involves as much laughter as it does hard work. And yes… they wear their signature bow ties at every performance!
Son Beams
The Son Beams have singing class every Sunday morning from 10:30 – 10:45 and is for ages Preschool – 1st Grade. During this time the children have an opportunity to give prayer requests, pray, and worship our Lord in song. We cover a wide range of songs so you’re sure to enjoy it.
